Bring Your Virtual Event to Life
The B2Group is a Live and Virtual Event Agency bringing traditional events into the virtual space. We understand the complexities surrounding communicating with your sales force, employees, clients, and constituents. We’ve created a technical solution to mimic the live event setting most closely. This provides an opportunity to give your presenter and experience most like what they would experience in a live event environment, live on stage. In addition, the ability to be in remote locations, gives you access to talent, hosts, etc. that you wouldn’t traditionally have had access to.
We created a demo to walk you through how the process flows. If you’ve read this far, hopefully you’ll go a little further and watch our demo (stealing and modifying a quote from one of our favorite movies. Can you guess which one?).
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How is this different than Skype, Zoom, Microsoft Teams or other third-party webcasting platforms?
In collaborative meeting tools (such as Zoom, Teams, Google Meet) all participants have a camera and microphone. These tools work particuarly well for a staff meeting or discussion-based breakout.
But consider that for a meeting in a ballroom or conference space, there’s a large audience and a much smaller number of presenters. The presenters have their own microphones, videos, graphics and pre-determined time on stage. Similarly, a virtual general session for an audience of several hundred (or several thousand) looks more like a broadcast event. Videos, a keynote address, marketing presentations, panel discussions (and more) all need to follow the show flow: seamlessly, free of distraction, and on time.
What feedback have presenters given you on the system?
TEAM
Presenters appreciate having the same production team to serve them (graphics, teleprompter, producer, video director, audio engineer) as they would for a live meeting. During rehearsals presenters can stop, make changes to the slides, get feedback from peers or a speaker coach, rework part of the script, etc.). And during the program that same production team is dedicated to producing a high-quality, smooth-running meeting.CONFIDENCE
Presenters are accustomed to standing on a stage and having a variety of information available to them on the floor monitors—slides, notes, teleprompter script, time remaining, etc. Our presenter view (or “virtual downstage monitor”) allows them to customize that same information on their screen.
FOCUS
We’ve all experienced the distractions that come with hosting or participating in a Zoom meeting. Presenters appreciate the fact that none of these distractions are a factor. They don’t have to worry about muting or un-muting their audio and video (we handle all of that in the control room) and they certainly don’t have to remind others to mute their audio, pin windows, or anything else.
What are the technical specs on the connections?
Our presenter connections use 256-bit AES encryption, and data is not monitored or recorded on domestic or offshore servers.
What services can the web broadcast be sent to? / Where are the servers located?
We can send our secure primary and backup stream to any distribution service. We’ve send publicly accessible virtual events to Facebook and YouTube live. Livestream.tv can be used for non-public events without a high need for security. For individual registration and viewing credentials, we’ve partnered with Corporate Events Online who use a worldwide network of AWS servers. Regardless of where we send your stream for distribution, we’ll help ensure that you have the right quality, scalability, security and customer service.
Can you help us search out and book talent for our Virtual Meeting or Event?
We work with several agencies and can suggest and help you book any talent necessary.
Do you provide traditional production services to support us with our Virtual Meeting or Event?
Yes, we’re a full scale Event Agency equipped and ready to support the entire event?
Can the presenters be anywhere?
Yes, they can be anywhere there’s an internet connection. Preferably somewhere quiet and with good lighting, of course.
We have some presenters who would like to shoot in a traditional studio setting, can we do this?
Absolutely. We have studios in Illinois and Nevada available to connect with the control room to integrate into your virtual meeting or event.
