But even a business giant can reach sticking points in growth. Stryker had a sales force that was no longer emotionally invested in the products they sold. Stryker contacted us to invigorate their brand. The B2 Group is proud to have partnered with Stryker on several corporate event planning and multimedia marketing projects.
One that we’re very proud of was an eleven minute documentary we created that told the moving story of Dean Otto. A story this powerful really allows our video production services to shine. The result was energizing to a sales force that had become stagnant. Here’s how we did it:
Project Ideation and Storyboarding
Dean Otto was training on his bike for an upcoming marathon. He was hit by a truck and suffered a severe spinal cord injury that threatened his ability to ever walk again. We documented his powerful journey, retelling the devastation of the accident and his incredible recovery made possible by Stryker Spine and his sheer determination.
Video Production Services & Corporate Event Planning
We premiered the documentary at the Stryker National Sales meeting and dug deeper, getting Dean himself to come onstage and speak to the Stryker sales team. After the documentary concluded, Dean walked on stage and delivered a keynote. There was not a dry eye in the house.

We dug deep and called on the entire B2G team to put together this touching and powerful multimedia story with a signature event for the Stryker Spine National Sales Meeting.
Humanizing the products by telling Dean Otto’s incredible story was inspiring and became a driver for the Stryker Medical sales team. Getting to meet Dean and ask questions was more than engaging for the sales force, but viscerally connected them to the products they sell. We gave them their “why.”

Stryker Medical Product Launch
B2G also produced a big win with Stryker on the product launch of their LITe BIO Delivery System, a revolutionary bone graft material surgical tool. We partnered on video production services to create a product launch video and event marketing for the national rollout.
Product Ideation and Storyboarding
After performing exhaustive research on the device and analysis of its function we created a three-word slogan for the product rollout. Advanced, Delivery, Simplified. Along with a nationwide marketing push, we created a dynamic video combining live action footage and motion graphics that communicated the essence of the slogan and highlighted the advanced feature set of the LBDS 9.
Product Marketing and Event Marketing
The campaign resulted in huge sales in year one by effectively telling the story of yet another hugely impactful product from one of the world’s leading medical innovators, Stryker.
